The aesthetic of this remaster is quite nice, I don't agree with the graphical criticisms. However, the UI is definitely mobile-esque and my particular gripe with the game right now is how unresponsive the units feel. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but I'm using Ultra unit size (not the buggy extreme) and yet it still handles very poorly especially in sieges with units going all over the shop even when commanded to form a simple line. Overall, I got it for 1/2 the price due to possessing the original, but I can't recommend it at full price until the handling of the units is patched. ASAP.

While not as big as its sequels, it's still the 2nd best entry in the franchise and the only proper way to begin your journey into the Mass Effect Universe.

Total War: Shogun 2 is a must buy for any fan of the Total War series. It has intense and crazy battles, decent diplomacy, and is a gorgeous portrayal of Feudal Japan. Simply opening the game and viewing the well-crafted cinematics tells you how much time was spent working on creating a product that will keep you hooked and immersed. As a result, even after constant changing and upgrading to the Total War formula (I'm looking at you, Rome 2), Shogun 2 remains a stalwart symbol of 'Total War: Done Right'.

Lots of dying, crying, and suffering. A must own for any fan of the Dark Souls series.

Oh, what a game, what a lovely game!

Currently has a few bugs and glitches, a 'meh' netcode, but the style is really cool and the game is enjoyable when working. It's got a bright future.

A 'sorta' compelling story; it could be argued that your choices at the end of the day don't effect the story as much as you'd expect. Then again, I personally really enjoyed it; looking forward to a second series.
