more like:" no more heroes 2: desperate struggle to get to the next save before it crashes", am i right?

10/10, very fun game but god I wish it didn't run like a fat kid.

Super campy horror game with clear inspiration from the old resident-evil/silent hill games and general slashers/80s films, playable in fixed-camera or over the shoulder if preferred.

Characters are basically 80's porn architypes outside of the main villain themselves, humor is mostly sexual puns/innuendos, so factor this into if you'll enjoy this kind of game.

Probably has about 6-8 hours of content accounting for the various endings and factoring in some trial and error in your gameplay. Speeding through things, you could probably complete everything in maybe 3-4 hours.

Overall, I enjoyed this and found it very fun especially for a risky launch day purchase when it had very few reviews. I hope it gets a bit more attention down the road so they can continue making stuff like this/whatever else comes down the pipeline.

I found this very enjoyable and relatable, since I have some similar thoughts when I am doing the mundane and I experience some pretty serious social anxiety at times . I have also experienced some of the more serious concepts brought up relating to death and while not exactly as described, I can really relate to struggles of overcoming that kind of situation.

I would really suggest if getting into this to be "strong headed" and not "easily triggered" or you may find yourself upset by the end, but if you can handle some pretty serious themes then this is a nice short story to get into. I would recommend it for those wanting a short visual novel that scratches the "depression" itch.

TL:DR - Game is short but good if you like difficult frying-pan based minigames and want to have strange/bizarre conversations with a bunch of weirdos.

Arctic Eggs is a fun little game where you go around cooking eggs in a frozen world while you listen to the various viewpoints, or often seemingly inane ramblings and complete non-sequiturs, of said worlds hungry and not-so-hungry residents. If you are able to fall for the little story the game builds and take the time to listen to everyones dialogue while taking in the games atmosphere, this can definitely be worth the 10~ dollar price tag.

The game is unvoiced so you will be reading everything pretty much. The dialogue is presented as being "typed" out in front of you as a character speaks, I noted often times you will see words be mistyped and then erased and corrected as part of the text scrolling which was very neat and I thought the effect for this was really nice.

Be warned, the frying pan mechanic is very much "Bennett Foddy-esque" in the fact that is is heavily physics based and often frustrating when paired with some of the "frying challenges" you will encounter on your path. Without too many spoilers, I found myself definitely raging for a brief few minutes at times.

Outside of the "sandbox" mode that unlocks after the story, It only took just under 2 hours to complete "100%". I don't mind paying 10 dollars for a 2 hour experience as long as it's a good one and in my opinion this games bizarre writing was worth it, however others mileage may vary.

Overall, I really enjoyed it and hope to see what else the developers will release from here.

TL:DR - If you want a game that's My Summer Car Lite - French Canadian edition, it's a great choice. Simpler car building mechanics and smaller map with more "streamlined"/simple Job system = overall more accessible game for newcomers or those looking for a less complicated choice.

Mon Bazou is a French-Canadian themed car building / weed dealing / maple syrup production / relationship management simulation game, think My Summer Car but for the man who wants an approximation of a car's mechanics.

As a certified dumb-ass cry-baby whiner, I do not have the patience to fully assemble a car's engine and troubleshoot problems. I work in IT, and that is already my job for computers and I don't like doing it here. My Summer Car is a fantastic game, and I love it in many ways, but I am simply not compatible with it.

I say that because this game is pretty much perfect for being a happy medium between overly simple that it is boring and overly complicated that it is tedious. I also feel that, in comparison to My Summer Car, the Job system is a lot more accessible and easy to understand. I don't find myself as lost in the, of course simpler, map of Mon Bazou in comparison to Perajarvi.

In Short, this is an amazing game in the genre, especially as a starting off point to get into the more complex car games if desired. As a smooth brain, I now have a game I can play that feels like My Summer Car but doesn't come with the crushing reality of my own lack of car knowledge and general overall incompetence. Also I'm Canadian, so it's an instant 10 and I can attest this is a lore accurate small town Canadian life simulation game.

gameplay goes hard, soundtrack goes hard, story goes hard.

whole damn thing goes hard, only losers wouldn't buy this game, and you don't want to be a loser.

sorry that was peer pressure and not okay, but its still pretty good so you should buy it.

11/10, would break the cycle again
