This may upset you, but this is the closest thing to a Left 4 Dead game that we've gotten recently. It's so good and really feels like a spiritual successor to L4D and is a wicked good time!

(I got over 300 hours Epic but decided to buy the game on steam in case I want to revisit in the future <3)

VRC is the best game for making friends, playing silly mini-games, and being traumatized in the best way possible

Great concept but there's 2 issues that actually make the game unplayable:

1. Server crashes- I have 1 gig internet and it's wired, yet so many matches will be going fine and then suddenly lag out and stop running. This issue does not resolve itself and forces me to manually disconnect. I'm not sure if it's a server issue or on my end but this only happens with Battlebit. I think the game needs to have a re-connection protocol that will either to auto-reconnect while you're still in the match or ask if you want to rejoin the previous match.

2. Black screen respawn bug- this one is egregiously bad. When I go to the respawn screen and select a spawn point (be it a base, squad member, or rally point,) the screen will fade to black do nothing for a few seconds and then return to the spawn screen. Even after trying different spawn point repeatedly, it will continue to fade to black and then return to the spawn screen. The match is still going on, but it literally doesn't allow me to respawn.

I have deactivated my firewalls, made exceptions with my anti-virus, and have tried both wired and Wi-Fi.

The timing is off, and the controls just feel clunky...

The camera makes this game go from good to god-awful...
I don't know if this is something that can be fixed, but if was I would give this game an 8/10

It's pretty hot

The gameplay is great, the story is lackluster, but God I love this game

An incredibly expansive game, with thick lore, stellar writing and fun game play. The graphics are outdated, but mods exist~
