I really wanted to give Bungie and Destiny a chance. Even after the catastrophy that D2 was at launch. Even after committing the stupid mistake of believing in Bungie after they fixed Destiny 1 and pre-ordering D2 to see them make the same mistakes all over again and delivering 2 content packages that were not even worthy enough to be called expansions. Even when they stuck to their guns claiming Activision was pushing microtransactions to see them increase when they left Activision. Even after the mediocre storytelling. Even after all the bugs that took forever to be fixed. But then The Witch Queen dropped and the game was in its best state, classes were fun, the narrative was good, the expansion was awesome. And then Lightfall came. A bug-ridden cashgrab with more than mediocre storytelling, an increase in server issues, a neglect of PVP and Gambit modes, and even more push with micro-transaction content in eververse. And when everything seemed like it couldn't get worse the Marathon announcement came in making me feel like I paid for a mediocre expansion with almost no interesting content just to fund another game while they ignore this one. As I said, I really wanted to give Bungie a chance, but yeah I cannot. When everyone was trying to create a game that would kill Destiny they were all set to fail because that game already exists; I present to you the Destiny killer: Destiny 2.

And after all the marathon shenanigans and the layoffs, seriously I hope you crash and burn Bungie. And all companies that follow your example of corporate greed. GO ♥♥♥♥ YOURSELVES.
