Jesus. Where to start with this one.

+Atmospheric.
+Decent music, if repetetitve.
+Decent audio

-You need to tweak the settings to actually see anything.
-Insanely slow walking speed the entire time.
-Every puzzle is convoluted, hiding useful items in locations that force you to backtrack a lot.
-Poor performance.

Jeez, where to start. Uhm, well, okay.

+The water physics are pretty cool.
+Short. Like, 3 hours short. So $5 for the time is good.
+Nifty Tomb Raider styled platforming.
+"I have two balls, and neither of them are crystal."

-/+The gunplay is not terrible. Not great either. Gets in the way a lot.

-The audio is complete garbage. What did they do, record with a $10 Walmart microphone?
-The challenge is either obscene or non-existant. Hardly anything in between.
-Runs like garbage. The Phantom Pain ran better than this.
-The actual, fun part of the game is the water power. One of them. Hard to use at times.
-The final battle is rinse and repeat with respawning goons.

A surprisingly good game even though it's the same premise as Valves Left 4 Dead games. With a bigger focus on melee and a gambling loot system, it'll either hook you or it won't. Frankly I don't care too much for rolling the dice, but it's a thing.

+Runs fairly well after the optimization patch
+Plenty of maps with more supposedly planned
+5 characters to choose from currently, each their own focus on playstyle
+Difficult from the get-go

+-Loot is randomized completely. Even with 3 tomes and 2 grimoires you might still roll a measley green or blue on the higher difficulties, and it might not even be for a character you use. But this may convince you to try others. May or may not matter to you
+- The community is apparently really trashy, but I haven't met a single player so far that I didn't like, but your experience may vary

-You get the drops regardless of the map, so it's up to difficulty to get you half-way decent gear, but it's still a chore

All in all, I'll give this a 7/10, but I imagine in time I'll run into issues, so don't take this review too seriously.

Legitimately one of the best games I've played this generation. It's extremely cooky if you go a certain route, and I haven't played the other, but the experience is... Unique.

The game has specific files that it keeps track of. If you reload after killing someone, the game remembers.

10/10, would cry again.

Great game if you like destruction derbies.

Awful game if you wanted anything resembling a racing game, be it sim or combat.

I totally forgot I played this some time ago.
I remember how stoked I was when I finished it.

Truly this game is a stroke of genius. It's simple, but effective fun that doesn't limit the player in how they move, jump, and shoot their way through literally everything in their path. The boss fights are well thought-out and generally leave you with a feeling of satisfaction.

+Fantastic controls, be it keyboard and mouse or controller
+The pixel art style is well done and looks great
+It's literally the cost of a fast-food meal
+The story is corny and the characters are ridiculous, but fit the whole ordeal
+Great scoring system

-Exceptionally short, only clocking in at about 1.5 hours (But hey, it's $5. Longer than that food'll last you!)
-You're not playing it right now

CS:GO is a cooperative 5v5 death-match that takes a drastic amount of skill to do well in. Every single firearm is designed to either fit a niche, or obliterate your foes at long range with careful aiming, of course. Surprisingly the game doesn't sport an ADS system, but rather relies on the classic model of shoot first, ask questions later.

Another notable system is the crate system. Being a Valve game it costs $2.50 to unlock these crates, but inside are skins for each weapon. An entire economy sprouted from this, and because of it, some skins are worth hundreds of dollars. If you're lucky, you might just turn $2.50, itno $250. No joke.

Each weapon is balanced weekly, with every single map and gun available to every single player. The maps favor one side, but are never unfair. A decent tutorial makes sure every single player feels right at home on their new battlefield.

But most of all ♥♥♥♥ Almir the Scumbag.

What a crock this is.

Every vehicle handles pretty much the same as the others, aside from very minute differences, the power-ups are a joke, and the difficulty is completely artificial.

+Soundtrack is okay, I guess.
+The style is nice. Lasers are pretty cool.
+Top down racer.

-Controller support is a joke. You can't pause the race with anything but the escape key. No modern controller support. (A big "screw you" to ExBawks and PS users.)
-Power-ups aren't remotely balanced. You can get hit with a tractor beam off-screen and be slowed and unable to turn for as long as they're behind you. So you could drop from first to last because of one power-p.
-The vehicles handle the same, and thus the stat values mean nothing. 20% of what? 80% of what?

All in all, glad I got this in a humble bundle for a dollar. Any more and I would've dragged Valve to court to get this refunded if I had to.

Holy nutballs. This game is everything a sequel should be.

It's like they actually took gamers and asked them how to improve on an existing game, and this was the result. This is a very fast paced and very intense set of PacModes. It's easily worth the money.
