As a big fan of the original KSP, I really did have high hopes for this game, and was looking forward to a brand new experience. KSP 2 unfortunetly does not deliver any form of new experience, and in fact has way less content than the original KSP. I think they should have added way more features, especially Multiplayer before releasing as an early access title... especially with the hefty price tag.

V-Rising is an amazing take on the survival/building genre by introducing deep RPG elements and strategy. You cannot just jump into a fight, but you need to plan and prepare for your next move.

I have been playing now for around 40+ hours, and have arrived to a point where I think I can give a bit of a decent enough review on the game so far.

First and foremost, this is not your typical survival game, in the sense that you do not find a spot... build there and just fortify against anything that is sent against you for as long as you play the game. I love the idea of starting from scratch every time you do a mission, and every time I find ways of building faster and more efficiently. Hell i have even gotten base pre work done in under 30 minutes :). I had issues graphically which I easily sorted out by playing with the settings, but on my 1060 I can play the game with around 50 FPS without major issues. There are certain times when I do encounter some lag, like when a forest caught fire... which was kinda neat to look at.

You need to be prepared for the worst... make sure you have a respawn point close by, cause chances are the mission will have some rather deadly surprises - like the 2 bear attack on the second mission. But on the whole, I welcome these challenges and it does keep you on your feet.

I also enjoy the fact that the devs are listening and are updating the game frequently. The change to max the level to 99 is most welcome, which means i can invest further in the blueprints trees. I am also sure they will eventually add a form of respec, so we just need to be patient and wait for it. We do need a bit more talent points... maybe give us an additional point after 40 every 5 levels? That may be just 11 points... but its still better than nothing.

I do agree with some points raised by some other players... solo tree is welcome but doesn't make sense as they become useless if a friend decides to join. A good suggestion maybe is where you should be able to assign a special point in the solo every 5 levels without the need to invest actual talent points in it. Playing with friends has major advantages... bears can be killed easily, and more importantly... they can revive you.

On whether this has been released early, well after playing most AAA games which are sold as 'released', this feels rather complete. It has teething issues, and those odd graphical glitches, but overall I had very little to no issues.

The game is definitely challenging, and not for the faint hearted. There is a lot of exploration and the time limit is just fine to cater for casual players. In most cases, missions may be 6-7 days long, but can be completed in around 2-3 hours... even less if grouped.

My only disappointment, is the trailer showed scenes from within the orbiting station. It would be interesting if you could walk around (or float :P) the station, maybe even meet friends in it before going down to the planet. Could be maybe customized, trophies and special flair items you gather from missions can be placed here. Workshop items can be shown somewhere... there are a lot of possibilities for a game of this style of play.

I do have faith that the game will improve, and look forward to the changes the devs will introduce in the coming weeks.

Going medieval, once again shows that an early access game can be a masterpiece. True there are a couple of minor issues, but on the whole a fun, colony simulator, and the raids eventually do get interesting. On the whole a truly promising title, and look forward to any future updates that will make this game even better.

If you like games like RimWorld, you will love Going Medieval.

I rank Valheim as one of the best survival construction games I have played in years. The progression is great, its really well polished for an early access game, and every day I learn something new. Inspires creativity with an RPG twist, and just so much to explore.

In a world where survival games are being spewed out like there is no tomorrow, it truly is a breath of fresh air when one really original and fun title hits early access. Raft is a solid game with some amazing water effects and we have faced only a couple of minor issues so far.

The only drawback so far is that whilst you can really be creative with raft building, there is not much with regards to content. There is a need for bigger islands to explore, maybe more random structures to investigate... and why not something really challenging to kill like pirates or raiders.... think water world.

On the whole though, I have been playing the game for hours on end, and it has been super fun so far.

Never has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of mobs been so much fun to slice and turn into sushi rolls! This game is graphically astounding and especially fun when played with friends. The game is quite challenging and only gets harder, but if we though that the rats were enough to satisfy your thirst for blood, now we also must face the warriors of chaos.

My only complaint is that I wish there was a bit more work done on the actual keep. I nearly did everything available in game and very little was unlocked. I know it's not the central feature of the game, but it's your home in the game.

This game could possibly be the most original concept to a game I have seen in a very long time, and the possibilities are endless. It is not your regular survival game, but the detailed elements including wires, pipes, gas processing, atmospherics.... the whole setup makes for hours of mind boggling planning and designs where everything can go wrong.

Yes the interface is a bit clunky and requires alot of getting used to, and yes it is riddled with bugs... but if they do sort these issues out (especially the gas related issues), improve performance and add more exploration elements... this game will be great. I loved Station 13, and look forward to what Dean Hall has planned for Stationeers.

I have been following this game ever since I backed it up on kickstarter, whilst there is a lot of potential, there is still a long way to go before the game is playable, and what was promised... actually delivered. The RV for example, was one big selling point to the game, but as yet it is not available in game.

Whilst I do recommend the game, because I firmly believe in the actual concept of the game, and on what they plan to do with it, I DO NOT RECOMMEND you buy it for now. Wait until there is a bit more content and there is an actual playable game.

The game looks like it has a lot of potential, and I look forward to seeing how the game evolves. It has a bit of an annoying learning curve, without any form of help to get started, but on the whole an interesting title. Has that rimworld feel to it, but it still requires a lot of work before it can truly feel like a suitable game.

For now i will recommend it, but may change depending on the how the game evolves.
