If you're using Direct X10, it may be interfering with your custom FOV.
In-game, type in 'preferences' in the console, without the quotations. Go to display, renderer, pick DirectX 10 and disable automatic FOV. In-game you can then type in 'fov 95' or whatever you want. Had to tell you here coz I got banned on the forums lol. Hope that helps. And if it does, mind reposting it on that discussion for more to see? Cheers.

@ascend Yes! The key binded to "K" by default spawns you to a nearby place in case if you ever get stuck on any terrain due to bugs or glitches. Hope it helps :)
