An upgraded CK2 with a newer, faster, slickier engine (and less dlc atm) and a message system that is less of a mess. A good point to jump in if you are new to the series, before the madness begins.

Well, if you like games like Dwarf Fortress or Prison Simulator, this is the best thing on earth.
