I haven't been as addicted to chronicle as I have been to any game in years, in fact I thought I was over the phase of my life where games pull me in like this. Chronicle is an extremely fun game that is easy to learn and incredibly hard to master. If you're just starting out, run through all the bot games and that should set you up enough to know how a lot of the cards and legends work. Then when you start the real battles you'll see your strategies ripped to shreds and have to adapt. The unique twist about this game is that instead of having to think of what your opponent will do next, you have to predict your opponent's next FOUR moves every turn and react accordingly. It's hard to explain, but adds immeasurable depth to the strategy of the game compared to most card games. You can be successful as a f2p up until the highest leagues, as I and many others have done, but I think you'll find it worth it to invest and donate a bit to this great game for some extra cards to play around with. I highly recommend this game.
