You are the Chosen One... Embrace Your Destiny...

I should've given this a positive review a long time ago...
While the combat and story are lacking a bit of depth, and the graphics aren't super stellar, this is still an amazingly ambitious game in its scope. If you have ever wanted to stand on a planet, look up then fly outside of the atomsphere, outside of the solar system, outside of our galaxy, and travel to other worlds entirely, then this is the game for you.

Most of my playtime is just me flying around the universe once I get superluminal speed. This game really gives you a sense of how incredibly vast and uncaring our universe is. No, it's not an exact model of the universe, but it is an entire universe on its own. You can fly to ANY spec of light that you can see... like any single one, and it will actually be a galaxy that you can enter and explore. The exploration is really the reward, because its not like one guy could program a game that has playable content on trillions upon trillions of planets set within billions of galaxies. If you're a space nut like me, then the feeling of seeing all of this in scale is just amazing.

After finding the monoliths, I literally travelled in one direction for over 25 mins trying to see if there was a border to this seemingly infinite expanse... I got some funny messages from the dev, but no sign of the universe actually ending anytime soon.... Just endless galaxies upon galaxies with some more galaxies thrown in just to mix it up.

I visited a planet within a nebula in one galaxy and unleashed Holy Hell on the surface, flew through the clouds of a Gas Giant, found a Black Hole (only b/c it was orbited by 3 stars & a gigantic Accretion Disk) and tried to fly into it, stood on the surface of a blue M Class star, contemplated the fact that this is actually happening IRL, then decided to go back to Earth... It took me another 25+ minutes to actually reach the Milky Way again! And without the ping, I would have been completely lost, no idea where I was in the universe, no idea how to return home... and I LOVED it!

I can't thank the Dev enough for making this game... I really, really hope that it will inspire a great AAA title someday that has this same feeling of absolute grandeur.

EDIT: Also... try not to sneeze when your Megaton Blast is fully charged. You might accidentally level an entire city... like I did -_-
