Transistor is a beautiful game with a somewhat heavy story if you take the time to emerge yourself in the world. The game is set in a matrix-like world where it is no secret that you are living in a digital world. You play a silent protagonist with a talking sword.

I would recommend this game for everything it has to offer. The combat is interesting and varied. Due to how some lore unlocks, you are challenged to change your combat skills (functions) around. There are many combinations that are at least viable and are fun to play around with. On top of that the soundtrack is amazing and apart from being able to push optional enemies out of the game area, I have not been able to find any bugs.

The main story was about 10 hours of gameplay for me. The game also has real replay value by unlocking all "function" combinations, maxing out limiters that make the game more difficult, and unlocking every optional bit of lore. Overall I recommend to pick up this game and play it from front to back at least one time.
