managed to get 1.5 games through before the slow pace, braindead players, awful passing and 30fps cutscenes made me have enough. its free and i feel ripped off

I finished the main story after 65 hours of play time, and I feel like I'm nowhere near done with the game. There's a ridiculous amount of stuff to do, even if you do stick to mainly following the main quest line.

My only complaints would be related to writing and pacing of the game - some of the generic mercenary missions have very jarring dialogue, and some missions let you *investigate* for information, then give you much more information than you actually found out (for example, somehow the character figures out that a character they're looking for is in one specific cave in the mountains based off a burned out torch and a small track of blood). In addition, the last few chapters of the main quest line seem short, and perhaps things could have been resolved a little more slowly to really make you feel like things are changing.

Overall though, an outstanding game, and I'll probably 100% it and *then* replay it again with the alternate protagonist. This comes from someone who hasn't played an AC game properly since Brotherhood, so take that how you will.

as someone who didn't play much civ 5 (only around 50 hours) i can't comment on what's missing from that in 6 - but i can say that i enjoy and got into 6 much more than i did with 5. like any civ game, it's impossible for it to go stale since there's always different leaders to play, scenarios to try, playstyles to experiment with - not to mention the huge modding community there to help you if you do get bored. yes the expansions can be a bit expensive, but if you're the kind to sink a whole day into clicking "next turn", then they're a wonderful value compared to the amount of gameplay you get from them - as is the game itself

I spend more time trading these sexy skins and knives than playing this equally sexy game. 10/10
