Game is really fun and i recommend it however the depth of field is way too aggressive, Luckily were on pc and can turn that off
go to: C:\Users\*yourusername*\AppData\Local\Maine\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor and open the Engine.ini
Add these lines at the bottom
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

Game will now look much better and wont have a console like apperance.

OMG! Thanks for the tip!! I'm definitely gonna try that out. Gotta get rid of that blurry mess! 🤣

For Steam users:

Push Windows Key + R

Copy and paste the link below

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Maine\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Engine.ini

Add lines as instructed in original comment to the newly opened .ini. FYI, it will make it so you can see very far away, like the gas station sign. Settings are also in display options of the game but do not seem to have been edited after adding the entry to the .ini.

Always prudent to backup game files before editing.

Depth of Field, lens flare, film grain and all those other "artificially apply the limitations of using a film camera" to a computer game should all go in the bin. Unless you are showing someone playing a video recording within a game it makes no sense.

I get motion sickness really bad and sadly I can't seem to find the engine ini to make these changes

If you think a lady bug can see you sitting on a toilet taking a shit... you have bigger problems lol

Eh. I feel that it prevents ruining the mystery and exploration. If you could just climb up and see everything there is available to adventure to, it would ruin the experience of walking up to something and feeling like "oh dang I had no clue this was here!"

I did this as well. The depth of field was messing with my eyes
