EDIT: Plus new missions, weapons, enemies, and little surprises are added on an almost weekly basis! Sure, the game has plenty of bugs, be aware of that, but good god it's still the most fun I have had in years with a game that wasn't made by some solo devs using ASCII assets. As for the PSN stuff, it was a listed requirement since launch - just make an account using a burner e-mail and a fake name and never think about it again. Unless you're in an affected region, at that point, demand your money back!

You will never have moments as intense as the ones you will have in this game. Diving off a roof just as a series of bombs slams into a horde of red eyed robots and their base as the sky is streaked by lightning. Assisting your fellow soldier by feeding rockets into their anti-tank so you can take down a five story tall insect monster. Fending off endless hordes on a hilltop, desperately waiting for an evac-shuttle to land.

Which is why it's amazing that it is ALSO, at the very same time, the single funniest gaming experience of your life. You get to witness such scenes as: Friend A knocking friend B down with the exhaust from their rocket launcher - causing them to drop the primed air-strike flare in their hand; everyone is blown to bits. Turrets swinging around and mowing half your team down because a pathetic low tier enemy caught its attention. Killing your bud because they walked in-front of you, then being obliterated by their drop-pod as they re-spawn, but then they explode because you were cooking a grenade.

This game is the kind of tonal whiplash I live for. Pure chaotic adrenaline action movie dopamine and a slap-stick looney toons comedy of cascading errors. Would buy again.
