I have no stake in how much it is or isn't like RuneScape, as I never really played the game. From what I have seen so far with this game, there is great potential, and I am excited to see that potential blossom.

This is an edited review. I cannot recommend this game anymore since the current plans are to periodically wipe progress so players have new things to work for. This is a terrible idea without some kind of seasonal "leagues" where you start over for the league but keep your progress in standard play.

Letting my friends know, any progress made is meaningless. No thanks

Another edit to the review: It would seem they are 100% going through with resetting players hero levels and gear. I have no reason to play this game if my progress is just going to get reset. You need to do a league guys, a league where you start from 0 to participate but get to keep all your progress in the "general"

Resetting progress like this was Rust or something is such a bad move. I wish I could refund because this was an amazing game but that decision completely ruins it. I've steered all my friends away from trying this out letting them know their progress is meangingless.

it's a great game but honestly I recommend the quest standalone version over the steam verison

The paywalled stuff feels really bad. You could have monetized this in a way that didn't feel disgusting but you didn't. Can't recommend unless something changes. I wanted to like this game I really did, the VA for all missions even inconsequential ones is stellar and the gameplay is very engaging. But not being able to expand my inventory, not being able to have a bank storage at all, not being allowed to have more than 2 extra hotbars, not even being able to hide my helmet etc... feels pretty scummy

I had put a positive review because of how beautiful and smooth this played, but the farther I get the worse my issues become. I can't play for more than an hour without the game crashing out. I had to reset my PC in order to just load a save file yesterday. When I close the game the process hangs on, I have to force exit the game from the Steam library to get it to close. I can't close the game without it giving me the crash handler window.

Bethesda, I wanted to like this, I wanted to love this. But this is garbage.

Game is fun. I do love to play it. My thumbs down is because of other issues with the company.

Support sucks. I've had a support ticket in since November 2024 that hasn't even seen a single reply. Just hope you never need to contact them for anything, I don't think you'll ever hear back.
