I've given this game days of my life, and honestly, I regret it more than I regret dating a manic pixie dream girl.

Not only are there no upgrades, the factions are bland and skin deep while their weapons are mediocre at best. The only way to win the game is to rush the plot since even the most basic enemy will grow more and more powerful while you have a grand total of zero upgrades to your own gear. I don't know what the goal was since it doesn't even change enemies to counter your weapon choices, that's just on a timer too. It's half a game and I don't think mods could save this train wreck of an xcom wannabe.
