Edit 3: Hesitant step in the right direction with the new DLC prices, overall CA attitude. We'll see if it sticks.

Edit 2: Jesus Christ the greed. Creator program for Total War youtubers n whatnot is garbage and biased, prices go up, quality goes down.

Edit: Immortal Empires, while incredibly buggy at times, is fun as hell.

Hesitant to recommend the game at this time. I'm fairly certain that continued support by CA will happen, and the game will improve like Warhammer 2 did, but current state of game is lackluster.

Recommend waiting until the Mortal Empires equivalent is released, as well as modding tools. Once these are released, I'll likely change the recommendation to yes.

OMG! I feel u. CA needs to chill with the greed tho. Immportal Empires is fun tho, even with the bugs. But yeah, the whole DLC thing is iffy. Waiting for the Mortal Empires equivalent before I buy it.
