The single player story is a masterpiece, however Red Dead Online has been treated as the ugly step child by Rockstar when compared with GTA Online. It's a great game but Online could be so much better if it would get some decent DLC, the Naturalist role was a dud in my book and the nerf to the Collector role and the upcoming nerf to the daily challenges might impact the game negatively driving away the few longtime loyal players away who were playing to maintain their daily streaks. I recommend the game but only if it's deeply discounted, the story mode is excellent and if you're a new player online is fun for the first few months while you level up the roles but can get boring fast with the lack of new content.
