Finally an official Yugioh game where you play the actual card game with decent eye candy (and ear candy). I've never played the real card game because I hated the notion of having to pay real money to have access to an indefinitely and intentionally obsoleted access to the game itself; half decent cards (deck).

Now this being a free to play sounds horrendous at first, but as of the writing of the review, the game showers you with enough finite gems to build at least one very solid deck, which is all you need to compete. I've build a weak ass deck called the code talkers and reached platinum without paying for gems. Reminder that I never touched the game before, but I did have to spend several days reading card descriptions. If anybody is new to the game, I found that watching combo tutorial videos on YT for your deck is the best move.

CAUTION : At platinum tier, the game becomes the slow unfolding of the consequences of the coin toss at the beginning of the game.
