A cozy little game excellent for just passing time.
It is a little addicting too to unlock the other characters and do some achievement hunting, also to see how far you can go.
I like that there are constant nifty little updates for the game all the time. Excellent value for the price paid.

Well done developer!

English:
I really enjoyed this, a small simple game showcasing the history in the city of pre-Gothenburg (called Nya Lödöse), I had no idea of any of this.
A really intriguing concept to intermingle national history in the form of a game.
I think it would be a great initiative to expand upon this as a tool of knowledge and learning in todays world.
Maybe even implement it into VR in some form? The possibilities are in fact endless.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only War.

He who allows the alien to live shares in the crime of its existence - Inquisitor Apollyon, Ordo Xenos

Things are very seldom what they seem. In my experience, they’re usually a damn sight worse - Inquisitor Titus Drake

I'm sure most of the men in the galaxy are familiar with the sinking feeling that accompanies the words "Do you think you could do me a little favour, darling?", but when the woman asking the question is an inquisitor it's even less wise than usual to say "No". - Commissar Ciaphas Cain

- Who do you work for?
- The Emperor.
- Then imagine I'm Him and you won't be far wrong. - Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn

I'm excusing a lot because I recognize the trauma and the loss you have suffered. But my patience isn't limitless... unlike my authority. - Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn

There is no such thing as a plea of innocence in my court. A plea of innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty. - Inquisitor Lord Fyodor Karamazov

You get more with a kind word and an Excruciator than with just a kind word. - Inquisitor Malden
(The Excruciator is a small torture device used by the Inquisition and others. It is a collapsible, and thus portable "torture rack", described as a small black box, from which protrude many hundreds of fine wires. Placed against the skin, these extend deep within the unfortunate subject's nervous system, enabling the operator to control the individual's emotions and state of mind. With a little fine tuning, it can inflict the most agonizing pain without necessarily causing physical damage.)

If you can confront the xenos, look upon the xenos, even think upon the xenos, without revulsion, then you are as damned as they. - Inquisitor Loffengar, Ordo Xenos

One cannot consider the fate of a single man, nor ten, nor a hundred, nor a thousand. Billions will live or die by our actions here, and we have not the luxury to count the cost. - Inquisitor Kryptmann

A good game to CRUSH heretics and mutants with your friends for the glory of all of mankind.
To Him on Terra. For the Golden Throne.
The Emperor Protects.

An okay game, i am not really into this because it feels kinda mindless and not very rewarding. I prefer games that actually gives me something, like an interesting story-line where I am invested with the characters and so on. BUT....I'll be damned if it didnt hook me in anyway :D It is quite fun actually, if a bit enervating when things doesn't go as planned ^^
Thank you devs, and well done on making a nice little game :)

A worthy successor to Doom 2016.
I must admit the music is less awesome than its predecessor...that irks me.
And the story....I was really intrigued to see where this teleportation would take me at the end of Doom 2016, but it seems the developers just thashed the story.
I get what they are going for, thinking their audience only wants to smash some demons as quick as possible. But that was a pity. It felt as if I played the expansion and had missed a whole lot of what happened inbetween :S

Also, I think they took it too far with the "mortally challenged"...it was fun hearing it said once in the first game. But now they are constantly droning on and on about it....it feels as if the "humour" suddenly took a dive to a three-year olds level. Or some such :S
The game of 2016 did well in not taking itself too seriously, it still managed to keep a compelling story (because believe you me not, I still like it. And the original Doom's STILL had SOME form of story. Also, the original Doom 2 booklet that came in the game box had the best tips for dealing with the Cyberdemon: Shoot it until it dies.).
This game just totally goes balls to the walls in not taking itself seriously, Doom 2016 did it more subtle....this game smashes you in the face with "lol lol all mortally challenged report to the office at once, we mean you no harm lol omg roflmao". I dont like that. It is too much.

Also, the game feels much more arcade-y this time around. Power-ups are floating in the air, hovering with BRIGHT (like NEON-bright) colours making sure you couldn't miss them. Again...the subtlety is gone. Every aspect of the game does not have to be screamed at in your face.
It takes away from the immersion.
Also... I think there are too many resource-inputs this time around. In 2016 you had the chainsaw for ammo and glory kills for health (and with a rune it also gave armour if i remember correctly). This time around they have also added a flame-thrower mounted on your shoulder (GOD I hate that one, it looks so silly... I DO NOT like that design choice at all! Give me a regular flamethrower....and if not, at least give me the ability to burn everything, to purge ALL with cleansing fire. This one just goes "doot" for half a second and then its finished. Disappointment!). Later on in the game you will also get a special weapon thats like an instakill on whichever demon you use it on, along with cool death animations.
Just adding these, along with the already existing chainsaw, glorykill/blood punch (again....stupid name, STUPID name. Just name it "Rip & Tear" or "Maximum Brutality/Carnage" or something else....naming something "Blood" is just too overused nowadays) it becomes too much in the heat of battle. I have trouble concentrating on just blasting the demons while at the same time trying to remember to use all the different powerups/killer moves/chain saw/flame thrower/regular grenades/freezing grenades to get a good flow in combat. And after a battle I find out that I forgot to use over half the tools at my disposal. Which gives me the feeling of everything being too cluttered.
I get it, they tried to advance the game and offer new stuff. But they overdid it a dad bit in my humble opinion.

This may sound like a harsh review, but I only do it because I love you Doom... having been with me since my childhood, since my beginning. The developers did a good job with this one, despite my critiques.
It is a nice game, and if you have played Doom 2016 you will get more of the same. You will delve a bit more into the backstory of things which is always interesting (but remember....more is less. Sometimes de-mystifying things takes away what makes them special, magical and intriguing, this game is on the verge of overdoing it).
If you liked the 2016 game, then go for this.

At the time of writing I am at the end of the game. I havent finished it yet. I still have the dlc-campaigns to play as well. I have tried the battlemode a bit, which was quite hard.
I do not know if there is a regular multiplayer yet (I hope there is!) but it seems as if there isn't any. But too soon for me to say that since I havent totally checked it out.

A real blast from the past. I remember playing it in the beginning....the demo.
I had no idea what I was doing but the music was so amazing and it really sucked me into it.

I remember playing with a friend, he was pestering me about attacking with my hoplite since they were so strong. I finally gave in and did it.
What happened was a priest saw him and converted him and that was that.
:( sadface!
It took so long to get him (most likely I did not have many villagers gathering gold, as I said....I was a youngling).

Anyway, definitely recommended.
After much blood, sweat and tears I have managed to beat all of the campaigns legitly, without cheating. This is an achievement I am proud of. It was hard, but it was worth it!

Recommended!
And also, you can play skirmish games with the old graphics as well. A nice little touch.

The only downside is that the original menu music from the first game is not there, THAT music I really much would have wanted. Now it is the Rise of Rome Expansion pack music instead.
Ah well, thankfully you can find it in youtube :)

Early Access Review
An awesome game, a great viking simulator made by a Swedish company. Survive, fight, gather and build you way to victory. To Valhalla!
A magical world with lots to do and many magical creatures to best.

This brings me back to the old glory days of playing tank battles as a kid with the awesome pixels and sounds.
I recommend this definitely, this is a nice little gem that you can easily just play a few minutes (or hours) with.

The music and art style helps making it a truly pleasurable experience too.

This game gave me 51 hours. I had all the dlc as well.
Thing is...I didn't REALLY do all of the quests and content, I kinda sped through the dlc's so there is much more to be done, many more quests to be solved and even more locations to be uncovered.
I finished this after finishing Fallout 3, again! So right now I'm a bit burned out with these types of games.

To be honest, I liked Fallout 3 better than this one. The 3rd installment felt more Fallout to me than New Vegas did. Granted, New Vegas does have more mechanics and improvements than the older Fallout 3 has. So that New Vegas is truly a more evolved game. I found that it was easier to get by in New Vegas with non-combative options than Fallout 3 as well.
I just liked Fallout 3 more.
What I didn't like in New Vegas was the robot voices, a robot talking with a Texan cowboy accent was a turn-off for me to name one example.

Dlc's were nice, but Old World Blues while interesting it was just a tiny little bit too much. The "characters" in it ruined the Fallout immersion for me. Dlc were alright anyway, I did speed through them just to have them done. That might have influenced my feelings towards them as well.

Anyway, you truly get your moneys worth if you buy this. There is plenty to be done and a lot of content to handle.
This I recommend :)

Quite a nice game.
It really gives value for its money, especially if you try to explore as much as possible.
And if you have gotten the dlc´s, then you have plenty more hours to experience with it.

It is a bit buggy sadly. I have heard that the GOG-version is more stable. And you could install an unofficial patch to make it less prone to crashing. I google´d around and found some notes on how to fiddle around with some files. That really helped and made it more stable, though it did crash sometimes.
At least I didnt have to restart my computer to get it fixed anymore.

Anyway, a nice game. And I recommend it :)
