Let us break this dlc down into 4 parts:

Flip Flop

Flip Flop has some potential. If you are a survivor who likes to run unbreakable or tenacity, this is a good addition to your build. This allows you to have the ability to have a higher chance to get out of the killer's grasp if you are on the ground long enough. Of course, the utility varies by rank and killer, but so does every perk.

Buckle Up

Buckle up also has potential. Again, depending on the rank and killer, there is a chance that you might be able to pull off a heal. This allows for both of you to see the killer's aura for the same duration as using "Breakdown". The intensity of aura is a nice addition, especially if you are not playing in a survive with friends.

Mettle Of Man

Initially, this perk was intended for the user to be able to take an extra hit. This was activated by getting hit by a killer's basic attack three times, then being able to avoid getting downed while in the injured state. However, if they get away and are fully healed after avoiding the down, their aura is seen by the killer when they are farther than 16 metres. Now, after the update 3.0.0, you are required to perform a "protection" three times in order to activate the perk. The method in activating the perk is negotiable, and makes you as a survivor work twice as hard to activate the perk.

Ashley J. Williams
Obviously, this is Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy. This DLC is based off the series, "Ash vs Evil Dead". As a huge Evil Dead fan, I personally got the DLC because of Ash. His player model does not look terrible. It actually looks like the actor, Bruce Campbell. The additional voice lines are neat. Also, take into consideration that after leveling up, you can make Ash like your main survivor, since perks are the main difference between survivors, besides their body. Oh yeah, by the way, Ashy Slashy the puppet is an additional customization instead of his hand.

In conclusion, if you are an Evil Dead fan, then I suggest that you pick this up. If you are simply looking for perks, then the purchase relies solely on your judgement. Thank you for reading my review.
