TL;DR - I'm a Day 1 Destiny 2 player, and I spent about $250+ for ALL of the DLC's and some Season Pass. Now you can get Destiny 2 Legendary edition for ~$60, which includes All of the DLC's out right now (yes even Beyond Light) if you just use google, which makes the game worth it in my opinion, and at the price of $60 I highly recommend it.

My recommendation for the Game is 60% No 40% Yes. I'm more leaning towards No just for the pure fact that Day 1-Year 1 players got finessed for having mediocre content, and the fact that now for $55 you can get all of the DLC's says something.

I will break down how D2 finessed me, and how I finessed myself (for continuously buying their DLC's, hoping that the DLC's that come out would bring back the Destiny I once loved and had 10,000+ hours on).

Part 1: Destiny 2 Launch, Deluxe Edition (I paid $120+, 2 DLC's)
What it should've been worth:
$40 Base game
FREE for Curse of Osiris DLC (that mf' was terrible).
$25 for Warmind DLC (it actually added a bit of content to the game).

Part 2: Forsaken DLC (I paid $40)
What it should’ve been worth:
$40 for Forsaken DLC - This was actually worth it, and was fairly fun, there was a lot of activities that got added.

Part 3: Shadowkeep DLC (I paid $35?)
$25 for Shadowkeep DLC - Ngl I don't even remember this damn DLC, all I remember was going to the moon or something and my money disappearing to thin air.

Part 4: Beyond Light DLC (I paid $55)
? for Beyond Light DLC - My dumb a.. never learned, to be fair I only paid $55 for Beyond Light Deluxe Edition instead of $85, so I guess for $55... its worth it for how supposedly bad it is? We’ll see.
