Not sure where do I even start with Strangeland...
Wormwood made a very difficult game, not in terms of difficulty itself, although change to a more classical point-n-click adventure difficulty was nice, I enjoyed the puzzles a lot, not to say Primordia puzzles were bad per say.
But story wise, hoo-boy, I didn't expect for an PnC game to hit this close to home, especially for someone who's been in depths of self-loathing and loss of loved family members. You went above and beyond with this one Wormwood, and especially you Mark, if I remember correctly that you are the one who wrote the story for this game.
I hope to see more works like these from you, thank you for giving us a game of this caliber and tackling such heavy topics. This is your best work yet in my opinion.

Thank you so much -- it means the world to hear that.

One of the oddest things about players' reactions to Strangeland is that folks who have experienced something like the voice on the phone or the Strangers' loss and despair have reactions like yours, but then among folks who *haven't* had such experiences, there are players who insist it's not a realistic depiction or that it would be too painful to experience for someone who's gone through it. So it's always nice to read a review like yours!

Ultimately, the only stories I can tell are the stories in my own heart and head (whether about robots aspiring to humanity, love as a light through grief, or a selfish god clinging to his status). I'm glad when they find an audience, but they'd have to come out one way or another even without an audience! :)
