This is one possibility of Celestia and UniverseSandbox having a baby.

Taking the factual accuracy and realistic view from Celestia (and addon/mod support),
and joining it with the higher quality graphics and (some of) the simulation aspects of UniverseSandbox,
whilst adding a soundtrack that rivals movies' soundtracks.
Throw in a much better version of NMS's (Initial Release) 'Infinite randomly generated' universe and this is the game you get.

And whats even better is that even without the 'pro' DLC you can still take pretty good pictures for your desktop background.
And only 50$ for the aforementioned DLC gives you the ability to not only take better pictures but use them commercially (a deal that should IMO cost 20$-40$ more) .

While playing this game i can find myself coming up with stories about the planets/stars/galaxies i visit, and i have a hard time Not taking pictures of every planet i go to. Not only that but once i get into the addon/modding part of this, i don't think i'll stop playing this game for years.
