I absolutley adore this mod, both Estranged Mods are some of the best Half-Life 2 mods I've played. The levels are of premium design and the voice acting and story telling is just spot on.
It has created its own feel away from the Half-Life lore so it feels like you in someone elses shoes but you know behind the scenes that you get the Half-Life feeling.
This game is now £4.79 but was free when i first downloaded it but its well worth the money.
It also comes with is own little mini games, and new designed UI and also the new "shorts" is just great. Little mini adventures with a story and they are just great.

If you havent played this already then you should. The first mod is free to play so youll understand why the second mod has a fee and youll know its worth it.

Cant beat classic peggle. Its very addictive good tunes and will hook you for hours.
Just stay clear of the new peggle versions on mobile and you'll be fine

What can i say? i love this game. Any game set under the sea is okay with me.
The story is very well played out and keeps you tense at times and also gives you the back story of the area your in. I wont spoil the story but its well worth a play if you haven't already. Graphics are decent and will keep your heart rate up at the best of times.

As someone who regulary builds and fixes computers i can say this game is good.... very good in fact. The fact that you can use original branded parts makes it more fun and you can see branded items such as MSI, Coolermaster and AMD all come together in the computer, although i must say im surprised that Microsoft havent allowed the use of their name for Windows 10 (Assuming thats the reason why there is a custom operating system int he game) There are many challenges to complete and most jobs dont give you an idea other than hints as too what is going on to get the job done. Like PC building in the real world, most building and fixing is done with trial and error, its fun trying to figure out whats gone wrong and also to upgrade PCs to a certain spec. If your new to PC building it can seem a bit much at first but those who have done it in real life will find this game a breeze. There is a free build mode that you can build custom PCs to your specs and also there is a training mode that will tech you how to build if you dont already know how to. Also a nice little touch i found was that my windows desktop wallpaper appears on my computer in game.
This game can only get better with time and i look forward to seeing more.

And now to the negative side..... As much as i love getting emails from 100s of people looking to get their pcs repaired or upgraded, i found it a bit much in the inbox. Mainly because at first you can only work on one pc at a time but u can agree to fix so many but then you have to plan your workload carefully.
The amount of expired jobs seems a bit insane sometimes. Id be suprised to see if anyone actually gets them all done. Many of the jobs i would actually like to do but eventually they expire and only certain ones have actual completion times. I would like to see the addition of expiry timers added to the emails so you can plan and decide better on what you want to explore. This way i reckon it will help encourage players to explore the harder jobs. At first i found myself sifting through the emails to find the jobs that was the easiest :D.

Its the only thing that frustrates me about the game so i do recommend it

Seeing as there isnt a way to say maybe to recommend this dlc, im going to sit on the fence with this one. Mainly because if you start from St Denys, you can see the end of the line towards parkway station which is a bit odd. Also it seems short like 28 miles, which is about 30 minutes driving? I would have thought it would have made sense to add up to Eastleigh or even Basingstoke, or in the other direction and go all the way to Weymouth. But for what it is its actually well designed abeit a few things here and there. Its not as clunky as most routes but thats mainly because its set through the New Forest.
Its a nice drive through the forest and the Lymington branch is a nice addition. For some reason the devs seem to be avoiding SWT routes between Woking and St Denys. Id say its not worth it at full price but if its in the steam sale for half like i got it then get it.

Suprisingly i'd actually recommend this game. Mainly because it is a Fallout game. Although it didnt have the best start due to glitches and the lack of human NPCs, it has started to be repopulated thanks to the wastelanders DLC. Fallout 76 is massive, it takes along time to walk from one area to another but you can discover alot of interesting sights along the way. There is a story within 76 but Fallout is one of those games thats generally enjoyed playing solo so you can really get into the story behind. You got to admit when playing with your friends, do you listen to your friends or whats happening on the game?
Your likley to become distracted by your friends and enjoying yourself than actually paying attention to the game. I've played equally solo and with friends and its hard to notice the story when you play with friends which is probably why there was a lack of NPCs at the start because Bethesda knew this.
This game does have some glitches that do need addressing like lighting, how VATS works and interaction with enemies.

Overall its good to explore if you want to by yourself or even with friends. There is alot to uncover and alot of work has clearly gone into this game. Give it a try and you'll see for yourself

I actually think Dying light is the best Zombie experience i have played. It has good story (although its quite stadard for a survival game), good setting, graphics are good, fun in the day but even more fun at night, the zombies are not too in your face and take a while to react so you can engage if you want or just walk away from them, plenty of parkour as well with some good areas to explore along the way. Its quite immersive as with all zombie survival games you will feel like its similar to others but i feel it goes one step better.

I also like the co-op side to the game as you can play with your friends or strangers and work with our against eachother. or you can just play by yourself against the computer.

Its a good experience all round and i recommend you play.

What a brilliant mod. Outdoor spaces are we designed and feel more immersive as well as the inside spaces which are simple in design but feel different from the Half-Life feel.
Voice acting is fantastic for a change as many mods feel like they are reading from a scrip rather than from the heart and this mod nails it perfectly. The atmosphere is just amazing in this game and its true that’s what they have focused on more than anything else. It feels like a cross between half-life, portal and a little bit of left 4 dead with the infected.
The infected are not monstrous in anyway and they are easy to take down or run away from as although they are part of the story if they didn’t exist then the game would still be as atmospheric as it is.
Only a true Half-Life fan could make something this good. Although it might be free it does have a few flaws but then i wouldn’t expect any mod to be 100% perfect but this mods pros severely outweigh the cons. Download it a play.

Well as a long standing F.E.A.R fan i truley beleive that this, the last game in the series was a complete let down. I feel that this game has lost all that what F.E.A.R stood for back int he day. The game itself seems now more of a fps like call of duty rather than a horror game. Lots of elements have been removed and new ones brought in. I was disappointed to see that alot of characters from previous games where never mentioned in this being the last game. I would have thought that previous characters would need a mention in the final game to give them the credit they deserve. The one thing that bugs me the most about this game is Paxton Fettel, he seems to have had a personality bypass and its hard to beleive hes the same guy that we all knew frm the start. He was a man driven by his beleifs and hatred for what was done to him as a child and now hes just plain selfish and a bit of an a-hole he has lost what he was. I admired he was a man of doing what he thought was right and now in this game i have lost all credit for him. Im not sure what drove the devs to change his personality so much in the first place. He used to pop out of nowhere and talk to you to keep you updated on vital story elements but that isnt the case anymore. Hes now sat on your shoulder offering poor advice.
The horror element of this game just isnt there as it was in previous F.E.A.R games. I think F.E.A.R ended after Perseus Mandate. F.E.A.R 2 tried to keep up with previous games but didnt quite hit the spot but was still a great game and now the third is just a let down. i Just dont feel drawn into what they think the fear element of this game is, i dont jump out of my seat or feel nervous about what will happen next.
The game mechaincs are clunky at times and even protecting yourself can be a challenge, the game design is just bad as it usually forces you to take only one path, prime example of this is the mech level where you have to walk along a straight path with n other options, in previous games there was generally more than one way to tackle a challenge but giving you a few tactical options.

F.E.A.R as a game will always be one of my top 5 games in history but it seems that other studios have ruined what was a great game.

I will always recommend the original F.E.A.R games including the expansion packs and F.E.A.R 2 but sadly i cant recommend this one. I truly think the new Devs missed the chance to properly lay this story to rest properly. Not mentioning any f the main people in the game such as Aristide, Holiday or even Betters, all vital to the F.E.A.R story and they dont get a final farewell mention.

Sad times.

As TS mods go this is actually pretty good. in terms of detail. Dovetail is notorious for making things too basic or missing features of adding features without declaring it. Its been long awaited for a TS mod to actually show London Waterloo so its a good way to start it off. The trains included are enhanced and they actually now come with the SWT branding which they couldnt get before (im guessing as this company no longer exists due to poor government decision making, it was okay to use their name). As ive said the route is highly detailed so it might not play very well on lower spec pcs or laptops. I get a drop n FPS around clapham and waterloo but then i expect that with the level of detail. One thing i feel thats odd is the senarios included with this DLC. Firstly There is no direct senario from one end to the other From Waterloo to Portsmouth its split into two seperate ones. The one from Portsmouth to Waterloo is only one senario and stops at Haslemere so theres no continuation onto Waterloo. The only direct senario i could find is From Hampton Court to Waterloo which is fine but its hardly the title of the DLC itself. I would have liked to have seen one complete senario from Waterloo To Portsmouth and vice versa without needing to load another one. In my personal opinion i find this quite lazy on Dovetails part.

Im hoping one day the whole of the South West Trains Network will be included. We still Lack from Woking to Basingstoke/Salisbury/West of England Line/Winchester/Eastleigh And Portsmouth Via Hedge end and Botley, also from Bournemouth to Weymouth. Whilst there is Southampton To Bournemouth, i find that DLC a lazy attempemt when they could have done more with it.

However this review is about London to Portsmouth and i do recommend that it is played as im sure the community will bring it a bit more life.
