This game has always been on of my favorites. its a game that i have played since is first initial release. it was exciting because it introduced Half-Life co-op between players. over th years it has grown to be one of the biggest things in the Half-Life universe. The map count is endless and are the posibilites. Even some half-life singplayer mods have been incoporated into this game so you can play with your firends. If your a fan of the original Half-Life and want a trip down memory lane then this is the game for you.

Well for accuracy and for someone who works for South West Trains when the 442's was used.
The sounds once again are not very good they seem recycled from older slam door stock or 455 on TS and they cut out when coasting which is in no way realistic.
The driver cabs doors slide open they dont function like the other doors on the train that come out and rest to the side.
The interior is still in SWT colours including the sea like wallpaper which is good and will help when a SWT reskin is available but its not good if its portraying Gatiwck express which is actually purple and burgandy red seats (which are not the same as the SWT colours).
Also another thing that really bugs me is that there is no guards bell and there is no way you can sound a bell as the button dosent work.

The model of this train is amazing it truly is but once again its let down by the same flaws that plague other DLC for TS.

This is truly one of the best mods i have ever played. I played Black Mesa when it first released and was amazed about how much effort was put into this game. It is a truly fan made game and each person that contributed to Black Mesa must be a hardcore Half-Life fan.
The steam version contains more updated visuals and of course the ability to use steam workshop with the game which gamers are already getting their teeth stuck into. Im looking forward to playing the Xen levels sometime soon hopefully.
Im glad i Paid £15 for it to show my support to the creators of this fantastic mod and its worth every penny.

This cleary is the best game on Steam. It shows that Valve truly are the best when it comes to game makin. I Played the first portal which i enjoyed so when i head that portal 2 was going to be more story based i could not wait to play it. It is truly one of the best games on pc and if you havent played it you should. It keeps you occupied whislt giggling along the way and keeping you focused on solving puzzles. Co-op proves very handy too as it can be played with friends and family which will also keep you focused, again keeping you entertained and giggling along the way. The story is well played out and you will get a sense of how the Half-Life story ends up in portal and if you have played Half-Life 2 episode two you will understand this too.

Looking back this is a good game.

It is well designed and dosent feel like grand theft auto.

Driving can feel a bit strange sometimes but its not that difficult to get your head around. The online hack feature is quite interesting although i prefer to play without being hacked by other players.

There are several mini games to play in between which are a welcome break from the main game itself.

Well worth at least one play through if not more.

Its actually not that bad, Theres guns, police, drugs you name it its deifnaly something to play when you wanna try something different,

The msot fun you can have online!
There is not better multiplayer game out there.
lots of game modes to keep you busy.

So i decided to update my review on this game, mainly because at first i was singing its praises from the word go.

Dont get me wrong this game is a good game, especially if your a train fan.

It allows you to drive trains from many countries on routes and gives you fun with senarios to keep you busy.

It also has a big MOD base because even other DEVs make routes and rolling stock for this game. Im pretty sure they do this because if its made by Dovetail, the creators of Train Simulator then it will be stadard and basic including sounds for rolling stock.

Id say the thrid party routes and rolling stock are worth buy more than the actual developers routes. Mainly because as i said they are pretty basic yet they charge alot of money. We all know what trains sound like. As a railway worker myself i listen to them day in day out yet quite a few made by Dovetail are poor sound quality.

The DLC on steam is not worth the money if its made by Dovetail. If its made by another DEV then the chances are its alot better. Even routes and rolloing stock proivded by third parties are better.

That said you have to buy the base game if you want to play third party routes anyway.

Based on this im still going to recommend this game based on the fact that it isnt fair to say its a bad game when there are so many good mods out there and you should try them all.
