It would have been so easy for this to be a phone-in, cash-grab game. Instead, we get one of the best Capcom brawlers of the era, wedded to a surprisingly true-to-spirit recreation of old D&D games and the Mystara setting, with some honest, if not always succesful, attempts to graft some of the of the pen-and-paper game into the brawler.

The emulation of the old games is well-done in this release, wrapped in a nice front-end, with some decent, if not earth-shattering bonus art. The new game modes and the various "enhanced" graphics options are not anything to write home about, but they don't get in the way if you don't want them.

Overall, a splendid package for the price, particularly if you have friends to play it with.

This is all Joker's fault. What a tool he was. I have to spend all day computing pi because he plugged in the Overlord.

Why aren't you working on your tickets!? Clearly we should figure out how to make rain in a Magicka versus event, I haven't played that multiplayer yet.
