oh also i really like the game :=)

Since barely any reviews on here seem to go in depth on anything i thought id make a proper one-

TL;DR: Game boring, first game better, Unikitty.

This game is fun enough but is insanely mediocre, specially when compared to the first one, here's why:
the game isn't structured like any of the old Lego games, instead of having carefully designed levels with character puzzles and combat it instead has insanely empty open stages where you have to complete quests that ALL boil down to "go to this place" or "build this thing that i just gave you the recipe for". None of the dialogue is funny or interesting in any sort of way, it's the most bland NPC type of responses you could imagine from a quest based game.

With the topic of dialogue, this game has no voice acting for any cutscenes besides some very uninteresting narration from Lucy that boils down to "We are doing a thing, we sure are doing something right now".
The game's story is completely different from the movie which i don't believe would be an issue by itself if the game's original story was interesting, which it is not.

Lego games always had simple combat which is on itself not a bad thing, but the one found in this game feels somehow even more watered down which is impressive, enemies also sometimes seem to stunlock you for some reason, causing you to take a lot of damage for no apparent reason.
The most interesting combat you will have is against bosses which is not even actual combat and is just doing bare-bone puzzles and "parkour" while you have some big guy attacking you constantly.

The "parkour" is frankly a bit insulting, it boils down to just pressing A, you never do anything else, you just press A and your character automatically jumps to the next platform by themselves, that's it.

On an additional note: The game is really ugly looking, i know Lego is plastic but everything is TOO shiny, besides how glossy everything is, the game just simply has terrible lighting.

Frankly the only positives i can give this game is that you can play as Unikitty from incredibly early on in the story and since every character can do anything without restrictions (except riding roofed cars apparently), you can just play as her for basically the whole game without barely ever needing to switch. (She's my favorite, can you tell)

(Which I didnt know you could do) then I smoked a FISH, FISHED OUT, THEN I TURNED INTO THE FISH, UEGH OH looks like The FISH is kickin in.. DEUHBLUHHSBDUHHSBUHSBUHEUGHHUHAAAAHUEAAHAAAAAAA!!!! fish
