Early Access Review
Welcome to 'Sons of the Forest', the long-awaited sequel to the original survival horror game, 'The Forest'. The game picks up where the original left off, and takes players on a journey through a mysterious forest filled with danger, horror, and intrigue.

Before we dive into the game itself, let's talk about the downloading process. Unfortunately, on the day of release, the Steam servers were down, and I had to wait for over 20 minutes to start playing. But once the game was downloaded, I was immediately drawn into its immersive world.

The graphics are breathtaking, and the sound design is nothing short of spectacular. Every rustle of the leaves, every creak of the trees, and every howl of the wind is captured perfectly, adding to the suspense and tension of the game.

As for the gameplay, 'Sons of the Forest' is a survival horror game at its core. You play as a survivor of a plane crash, and you find yourself stranded in a mysterious forest that's full of dangerous creatures and cannibalistic tribes. Your goal is to find a way out of the forest and survive as long as possible.

The game offers a variety of weapons and tools to help you on your journey, such as bows, arrows, and traps. But even with these resources, surviving in the forest is no easy task. You'll need to scavenge for resources, build shelter, and craft items to help you stay alive.

One of the most impressive aspects of the game is the enemy AI. The cannibalistic tribes that inhabit the forest are intelligent and ruthless. They'll work together to try and take you down, and they'll even adapt to your strategies, making each encounter feel unique and challenging.

In addition to the enemy AI, the game also offers a deep crafting and building system. You can build anything from simple shelters to complex fortresses, and you can even create traps to help you defend your territory. The crafting system is intuitive and easy to use, and it offers a lot of depth and variety.

Overall, 'Sons of the Forest' is an excellent survival horror game that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. The graphics, sound design, and gameplay are all top-notch, and the enemy AI and crafting systems add a lot of depth and replayability. If you're a fan of survival horror games, this is definitely one to check out!
