Yeah, COD is an arcade shooter. They keep pushing towards the realism of battlefield when the community as a whole does not like that. The majority of people want cool, iconic guns that roll off the tongue. "Dude, the VMP is so op!" is a lot different from "Dude, hes using the CETME Model L!" If you're a dork who has an obsession with guns, then I am sure having the actual gun model from the 80's is great. But most people play cod because of its arcade style, and nobody wants to be memorizing actual real life gun model names. The people want cool, snappy, and slick gun models and gun names. Such as the previously mentioned Locus, Ballista, VMP, etc. You can disagree if you want, but my point is made apparent when the majority of old COD fans do not like the game anymore, and the franchise is dying because of it.

Alright I understand your point with the maps. However, the guns are unique in the fact that they are mostly forgotten weapons IRL like the aforementioned Gepard PDW and the SR-3 Vikhr, even more to the list like the SAR-80, RMC2, Grendel R31, Famae SAF, A beltfed variant of the AR-10, the CETME Model L. The list goes on and on. I, as a gun nerd, would know when a weapon is unique or not, and they are damn unique.

Wait, so you're defending this game and you haven't even bought it? Ur defending the beta? Lmao, this is once again why people make fun of COD defenders. You are d riding a game you do not own. Insane work brother.

And no, the guns are not unique. The VMP, the Ballista, the Dragunov, the Locus, the SVG-100; these are iconic guns with personality in past COD games. The entire BO6 armory is comprised of generic guns you'd see in any shooter. None of them stand out like past guns have.

And you can't be defending the maps. Just because of the time zone does not mean the maps should not have personality. Lets compare to BO1, a similar timezone to BO6. Jungle, radiation, summit, OG Nuketown, WMD, Grid, these ALL have personality and anyone who played BO1 would agree. They are all unique in their own way. All having a unique setting, biome, and feel. Every single BO6 map is the same aside from maybe Gala and Skyline. All other maps are "LOOK GUYS!! HAHA!! RUNDOWN CITY!!!"

The points I mean are things like the micro transactions, rudimentary audio improvements. Those things are completely minor and aren't requirements to have fun in the game. The price ♥♥♥♥♥ me up too, which is why I am waiting for a sale. The weapons are like how they were in Cold War, basic. Even still, the weapons they have are unique. I can't name one game where they have the Gepard PDW or an SR-3 Vikhr, unless it's a game like H3VR where it's meant to have a lot of unique and different guns. I enjoy the difference in gunsmith in the game, because it's not like in MW3 where you have 53 different grips, half of them being unused in any build. The maps aren't supposed to be colorful, because its not meant to be a futuristic world like in BO3. If you look at BO1's maps, a lot of them look dull. This fits because the game is set during the Cold War and the Vietnam war, not some terminator "killer robots" war.

idk which point I made was "easily avoidable" or "not true". And the game crashing happens for millions of players, so absolutely not just a me thing. Almost everything I mentioned is apart of the core gameplay, so its not minor stuff lol. This is why I make fun of people defending BO6 to their grave, because actual points about the game being bad are made and they are shoved off as minor when in reality it is the fundamentals that make up the game. The maps, weapons, skill based matchmaking, price, P2W, crashing, and cod launcher are all literally what make up call of duty at its core. If you have fun in the game, great. That does not mean it is a good game. I have fun on league of legends, but I can still identify it is a horrid game.

We both have the same view of BO3 however, I think that BO3 is a peak game. The zombies is peak to this day, the multiplayer (while riddled with cheaters now) was good in the past and the campaign was.. fine.

TL;DR: A lot of the points you make are easily avoidable or just not true and some of them are part of the design because of the time set in the gulf war. BO3 is good but finding a game without cheaters is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
