I love this game, especially when you find yourself playing at higher difficulties with your friends or random players. I’m a casual player, but from what I’ve seen so far, the community doesn’t seem toxic. This game can be quite challenging, and during a match, you can use cards to tilt the odds in your favor or against you (usually to earn more points), making each playthrough unique.
I suggest playing your first playthrough on standard difficulty to get comfortable with the gameplay, its features, and to unlock things.
A lot of people complain about the sound. To be honest, I like the music in the game, and the weapon audio is just okay... but the sound of some weapons can easily bug out during play, and when it does, it gets really annoying, like having a suppressor on the weapon you’re using. This isn’t the only bug in the game there are actually quite a few, which is kind of ironic for a game about bug-like aliens.
