I swore to never pre order again and i broke that pact to get this game, and this further proves why i hate pre orders. The game is not what it could have been. The game is fun, but the performance optimizations, the bugs, the horrendous AI, everything kills the immersion of Night City. NPC's walk right through you and pretend you don't even exist while giving out the most bland dialogue possible, and you will see some duplicate NPC's around. The game doesn't look that good either, even with ray-tracing on and everything turned up it still looks worse than games like the Witcher 3 or Red Dead Redemption 2. Lack of basic features games from 2015 had also really adds insult to injury. This is a AAA game in development for 8 years. There is seriously no excuses for this. The amount of basic features missing and bugs scream unfinished game. Do not normalize this behavior or all AAA company's will follow suite. And the thing is through all of this, I did enjoy myself and like the game. I will continue to play the game to the end too. But this is nowhere near a finished game and if you think that your a damn fool.

EDIT:: I have now completed the story and i can say with 100% confidence it was the worst story experience I have ever had. Don't get me wrong though, the story plot and the acting is all great. The bugs combined with poor game play is the problem, When I fought the final boss for example he got stuck in the ground and stopped shooting for me to just stand next to him and kill him. But with cyberpunk it's never just one bug, multiple times I have encountered game crippling bugs. I have found numerous holes that just drop you out of the map in spots around Night City. If you don't believe me jump in the water of Night City and take a swim and I guarantee you will find a hole out of the map. The game is simply unfinished. I'm not hating the core of the game because I kept playing it despite all the shortcomings. But i pre-ordered this game for $60 dollars and not even a month after it's release it's on store shelves at $30 dollars (I have seen this with my own eyes in stores). The game didn't even run on my PC when I got it I actively had to go out and seek mods and modify the game files just to get the game to run (On hardware that is above the "recommended" specs). This game is not finished. If your reading this a year to two down the road then don't worry as i doubt the game will still be as horrible as it is now, But as of February this game is still just as broken as it was at launch. I cannot recommend it in it's current state at all.

EDIT ONE YEAR LATER: Currently have beat the game and am on a second play through. The first play-through one year ago was literally terrible. Let me give some examples, I found parts of the map that were missing walls and you could enter under the map, The final boss never moved or shot when fighting. This play-through a year later has been about the same. The police spawns are so awful and if you get the police going to a mission you can never return to that area or the police will instantly know its you and teleport. The updates have basically done nothing. Story's fun and that's sadly the only thing that keeps me coming back.
