Bower, 19, of Kazakhstan died January 18, 2021. He was born in Peapody, the only son of Roger and Mary (Smith) Holmes. He was educated in the Peapody public schools and later attended Pissfield Academy in Pissfield, MA. He went on to receive his BA from Duke University and his Masters from John Hopkins University.

In 2010 he was married to the former Ghislaine Maxwell at Mt. Olivet Catholic Church in Pissburg, PA. They have two children.

He leaves his beloved wife GHislaine; his son Kyle and his husband Sean of Seattle; and a daughter Vanessa of Pissburg. He also leaves a brother Cameron and his husband Liam of Palo Alto, CA and a sister Jimbo and her husband Jared Fogle of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his in-laws, Chris and Paul Harris of Albany, NY. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister J. Star.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at 10a.m. on January 23, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Pissburg with the Rev. Maimus ♥♥♥♥♥ presiding. Memorial gifts in Mr. Bower'memory can be made to the American Heart Association, 24 Lomond Court, Pissburg 20976.

Arrangements are being handled by the Ogden-Smith Funeral Home, Pissburg.
