The original Granblue Fantasy Versus game was a gem in the rough, and this upgrade is the cut and polish.

I played a decent amount of the original Granblue Fantasy Versus, and it was some of the most fun I had playing a fighting game. It had easy to understand mechanics, satisfying combos and attacks, and a charming art-style. I have not played or watched anything Granblue related before, but even so, the characters grew on me very quickly, in no small part from Arcsys' characteristic eye-popping animations during battles. Unfortunately, the original game fell out of popularity very quickly, due to delay based netcode and other disappointing flaws.
Now with the gold-standard roll-back netcode and crossplay to boot, as well as so many other welcome Quality of Life changes, this new version of the game is fighting game perfection.
It honestly makes me so happy they didn't can this game and made this improved version, because you can really tell the Devs put a ton of hard work and love into this game, from the quirky quips from the likeable cast to the absolute banger soundtrack. Doesn't matter if you're a fighting game newbie or a seasoned pro, there is tons of fun to be had here!
