This game is really, really, really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. I'm still early in it, but I went into it expecting it to a hodgepodge mishmash of Sekiro, Hollow Knight, and Dark Souls. So far the level design and combat go far beyond hollow knight and the adaptation of its mechanics to a 2d environment is quite incredible.

EDIT: As of 8ish hours in, this game is an easy GOTY. It is probably the best game I've played in a long, long time. Maybe the best ever. But it is better than hollow knight, and everything it aims to do it does perfectly, and tries to do a lot.
