[Disclaimer] I have received no compensation from anyone connected to this game, i bought this game on my own and i have no personal relationships with anyone who had a hand in this game. I did join the Discord Server owned by the developers in order to get updates and hear about the release. The following review is based on my personal opinion and thoughts about the game.

Basically, Cloudpunk has everything a game in a cyberpunk setting should have, and is what ever game in the genre should strive to be.
Cloudpunk is a game in which you illegally deliver parcels to people all over the gigantic city of Nivalis on foot and in your flying car. The real meat of the game comes from the story, rather than intricate gameplay mechanics. You're new in town and as you talk to people you get sucked deeper and deeper in to the world.

The game sets an incredibly rich atmosphere, and everything from the architecture to the sound design tells the story of this world. The voice acting is great and through the dialogue you learn a ton of backstory, without it ever feeling like an exposition dump.
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this game. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The game has themes of transhumanism and android rights. What it means to be human. The class divide, and how disconnected the reality of the upper classes and lower classes are. It is about the future, the present, and the past. Cloudpunk is Cyberpunk fiction at its finest.

Im in love with this concept.
Im in love with the execution.
Honestly, this isnt as much a game as it is a beautiful piece of software and place to escape to.

This is an interesting platformer based around gettin beers and shootin' fireballs!

The entire concept it silly and over the top, but it is really fun, and the soundtrack is pretty decent metal.

Guns of Icarus... This is a prime example of an underrated gem, it is one of the few multiplayer games that actually REALLY forces you to rely on your team mates/crew.
It is set in a steampunk universe, where people fight over scrap in giant zeppelins.

There are 3 classes:
Gunner: Self-explanatory...
Engineer: A repairman... Self-explanatory agin
Pilot:.... I think you can figure this one out.

All classes can do anything in the game, but each class has more "stuff" or equipment for their specified speciality (EG. pilots are always the best pilots etc etc.)

If youre looking for a great multiplayer game, this is a pretty good one.
(PS: Playing with friends is recommended, although the community is pretty damn good, the devs are also really cool people)

Elite: Dangerous is an interesting spin on an "MMO", even though you are limited to a maximum of 32 players per instance, it FEELS like it is populated by many players (unless youre in the deep corners of space).

The game isnt like a typical MMO as it is peer-to-peer, which is why it will never "close" because of the servers closing, since YOU host the server, and so do everyone else.

It is a fun game, in which you have complete control of your characters motives, and i strongly recommend setting a "story" for your character and immerse yourself into the universe, and read up on the political standings (which will all become important in the upcoming update "PowerPlay") as it will help you decide who to help in this game of intergalactic dog-fighting and space-politics.

This game is unfinished, it does run all that well, and it doesnt offer much in mechanics.

I cant recomend this right now

This game needs polishing.

That being said, it is amazingly fun, and it has huge potential! I KickStarted the game, so i might be biased, but i love the way they are taking this, the planned features are really cool but what is already in the game is awesome! As it is right now, im not sure if its worth the 22.99 euro, but in the future it propably will be

EDIT: Do not support the devs, we have hear dnothing from the since its earl access release, and now they have removed it off of steam, i am furious that hey wasted the amazing potential of this game, and just abandonned the supportive community DO NO BUY/SUPPORT THE STMPIN LANDS

This has the best music of any free game i have ever heard, it is magical and eery even though its just a game about a fly.
Little to no mechanics, no graphical options, no FOV sliders

10/10, i cried
