This game has been a mainstay in my library for quite a long time. since 2014/15 actually. I originally got into this game because of my love for aviation and history. This game has had an issue for a long time with the economy however now its finally becoming enough of an issue for people to take note and stop living under a rock.

Most vehicles, even if you are fantastic in your plane/tank or boat are unplayable. The high repair cost, purchase cost and crew costs makes most aircraft unplayable (ill be generalizing to aircraft as that's what i mostly play.) The game is nearly unplayable without a premium account, and now premium vehicles have become necessary to progress even if its still at a sluggish rate. I loved playing and seeing my favorite aircraft in action but now that I cant progress unless I pull out my card for aircraft after aircraft and upgrade after upgrade makes me really upset considering how many hours I've poured into the game.

Back then people just told you to "git-gud." So I did what any sensible person did, and got good. and I noticed how minimal the reward increase was. It just showed how people are willing to ignore it until it becomes an absolute catastrophe. The increase of BRs and the increased length of the tech trees how now perpetuated this issue until the argument can just be no longer made that one must "get good kid." It This isn't just harmful to us older vets but to the newbies coming in who realize that they are throwing themselves against a brick wall and that realization will keep bleeding the player base of long term players. Eventually the cash cow will be dried up and the community will die. It makes Gaijin money now but it wont make Gaijin money later. For the most part Gaijin has been a tone deaf developer and a total brick wall most of the time War Thunder has been out.

In most games I play I can ace each match or come damn close. It really urks me that when I get 3-4 kills or play the objective I'm given minimal reward or even lose money on some occasions. Regardless of if I play AB or RB the game is still incredibly sluggish and unplayable unless I pull out my card.

The fact that these aircraft and bundles and premium account and GE are incredibly inflated for the goods that you receive. They are free to charge what they want but the fact that you get basically nothing for the money you are spending. You get minimal GE, premium account time and the aircraft you are purchasing has already been spammed to death in RB and AB for its respective tier. Realize that its $70+ usd for a mediocre aircraft that gets spammed by everyone and can get stomped into the ground by anything even minimally higher. The price of the new Zelda game is $70 and people are complaining that price is too high. For a full game with ♥♥♥♥ loads of new content and other things. Why has no-one been complaining about this for the past 6 years? War Thunder players are expected to buy something the price of a new AAA game, that doesn't have the inherit value to any degree, then on top of that fly it over and over and over then get clobbered repeatedly. All in a price bloated "bundle" that is more akin to a scam.

I'm willing to let go of the argument of how horrible the community is at times. You can stay away from people for the most part unless you are spam reported by a squadron because you don't let them spawn camp you in an ab match.

Its very frustrating as well that most vehicles for the most recent trees are Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, select item and rename. This can be remedied in time yes but when the last 3 trees are copy pasta with only a small handful of exclusives I feel that it isn't warranted being added to the game. Just do how Italy was in the German tree back in the day. Italy had a lot of quality aircraft for being one of the first non launch trees added all because time was being taken to insure that the quality was there with minimal copy pasta planes.

Don't give your money to a developer who repeatedly abuses, scams and gaslights its player base. They dangle the carrot in front of our faces and keep us tied to our desks for hours. For any premium users try and play the game without premium above tier 4 with no medallions and no premium aircraft. I don't know about you but those items should not be mandatory to purchase to progress in the game at a reasonable pace. Those are items that should increase efficiency yes but the game should be playable without those items and it hasn't been for a very very long time and people are now just finally realizing that. This game needs a rework not just in the economy for premium users but for the standard players and don't let them give us any less than whats minimum. This game also needs a rework in the BR, premium and progression system in general.

Go play something else and don't waste your time and money on a game of fake content, rigged rewards, misleading advertising and a disrespectful community and developer.
