Your local fabulous devil.

I was voted 'most likely to kick you in the taint' in high school.

My wishlist IS roughly ordered, so if you really want to give me, go from the top down. The higher up something is, the more I want it. Also, don't try to buy me DLC for games I don't own, easy to check if I do by seeing if the game is also in the wishlist.

A bit of detail about me..
Hi. My name is Nyktos.

I'm an eccentric 31yo yeehaw-flavored hazard of cognition who happens to call gaming one of his biggest hobbies. I especially love traditional roguelikes and fighting games, though I also play a lot of RPG's, tactical shooters / MILSIMs and RTS / RTT games.. but overall I don't really have a ton of loyalty to any one genre.

I own a metric f♥ckton of games across many genres, but 95% of my focus goes to traditional roguelikes, cRPG's and colony sims games.. though I do also love fighting games. I am predominantly a Melty Blood player FG-wise (ignore my lack of AACC playtime or achievements, I only bought the Steam version to show support, I play the Community Edition like everyone else) but I also really love Undernight, Skullgirls, P4AU, SNK games and a litany of other FG's.. I own dozens of them. Do not play me if you are on Wi-Fi or I will actually bite your balls clean off.

There's far too much about me beyond the basic little blurbs like that to really give an accurate grasp of me so if you're curious, just message me and ask. I'm an open book and (clearly) love talking about myself.. so as long as you're not boring I'll probably tell you things if you ask. Everyone likes to speak with a deity now and then.. so ask. This one might answer. Maybe.

226 Hours played
This is the single greatest game I have ever played, I don't even have anything bad to say about it.

The dated, classical and minimalist visuals might put some off but as a longtime lover of old school cRPG's from the 90's and early aughts this game felt like home to me. I've only beaten this game once, a full completionist Oddity run on Hard difficulty. I had 183 hours on that file before I finished the main game + DLC's + all side quests I could do + hit level cap. Almost 200 hours for a SINGLE run is insane.. and the moment I finished it I couldn't wait to do it again on a new, different build whilst taking different branching paths in the story with which factions I chose. This game oozes replay value like poison from the glands of a burrower.

The writing, tone and atmosphere are excellent. The art style whilst minimalist is also wonderful and I think does a lot to set the tone for the game even more. The OST is perfect for the setting. The gameplay / combat is challenging and it's fun as hell to see a build finally come online to start putting in work. There's a LOT of side content, more than most people assume. The story keeps you interested until the very end, though I will admit Deep Caverns (the end gauntlet) can be a bit of a slog if you're not the type who loves digging up small fragments of lores via computer logs and optional dialogue paths. The DLC content was all excellent. The pricing for this game + its DLC for just HOW MUCH potential playtime in the game is beyond a steal, it's an amazing value.

The game plays something like a spiritual successor to the classic (1 + 2) Fallout games but it has enough of its own DNA to have a unique identity, I don't like calling this game a Falloutlike because it only really is on the very surface. There's a lot to unpack and take in with this game. It WILL push you, your first build or two is likely to end up soft locked or on the cutting room floor. There's no real tutorial beyond explaining basic gameplay mechanics. Some enemies and basses (Crawler variants, the Tchort fight w/o the Mutagen Puzzle solved, etc) will absolutely make you reload save after save. You will feel hopeless at times.. and honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way in a game like this.

This is my favorite game ever made, 10/10, highly recommended for fans of cRPG's / post-apocalyptic games. I cannot wait for the 2nd game even though I know it's likely years away.

Styg, y'all killed it with this one. Got a fan for life in this man right here.
