Do you like to own products that you buy? Would you like to play this game in case if you recently moved to another home and have no internet connection? Did you have an unexpected internet outage and want to play a bit? Well, with Doom Eternal, you CAN'T! Don't spend money on this, if you think that you would one day want to play this while offline. You have to be always online to play something you paid for!

Edit: adding another comment on why I don't recommend this game, the mistreatment of Mick Gordon that was recently brought to light recently as of 15/11/2022

For consistent connection issues, first we recommend power cycling your network and switching to a wired connection if you aren't already on one. If those steps don't help, then we highly recommend you reach out to the Support Team for more direct assistance via a ticket here: https://help.bethesda.net/#en/home Once you have, a member of support will respond with further steps to assist as soon as they are able to.
