Insanely good game. It was somehow better than the first game which i thought was excellent. Bosses were very well done, (except for one big robolaser guy) and was quite a bit harder than the prequel bosses which made them more enjoyable.

Map is probably the best i've seen in a Metroidvania. It reveals quite a bit, but not enough for secrets to be easy to spot out. There's always different paths with no indication on which one is the right one, which makes exploring more enjoyable.

Grinding is not required unless you want to 100% it, but even then it's barely 1 hour of running back and forth.

I definitely recommend this game to a Metroidvania lover

5. game i've completed in the We were here franchise. The best puzzles in this one, but it was sadly the shortest by far. Keep the games coming!

This review is more of a meh, instead of a straight no. Early game is the best, everything is brand new and seems to be an amazing game when you first start of. Building variety is one of it's strong points, so many unique ways of building your raft to your liking. some of the late game islands are well made and fun to explore.

Bad parts are:

Too much grinding for simple materials like wood. plastic and other upgrading materials later on, this issue is huge because of the trash durability on most items. The durability is so annoying when it feels like most items break within 10 hits. Still a lot on bugs with building on the raft. but isn't a huge issue when you compare the amount of things you can build and customize. The story is probably good but easily overlooked so didn't pay much attention to it. Most puzzles in this game are bland and boring.

Biggest problem of the game. THE FOOD AND WATER. It consumes waaay to fast to the point where it makes this game boring and a waiting game for your grill. You can't go anywhere on a big island without half your inventory space full of food.

Amazing game! Mix of Dark souls and Hollow knight while being a little easier. Very good and chill soundtrack
