Quite an interesting game this is, pulls you in thinking everything's gonna be fine and then... Well, it's up to you to find out.

It's a boring, long winded, souless clone of the first GRID, with everything that made the first game great stripped away and replaced by shiny graphics. There's no sense of speed, no sense of progression, no character (looking at you Mr. Crew Chief, AKA midly annoying generic English man no.21719), even the cockpit view is the most half arsed thing I have ever seen, the first Need For Speed game from 26 years ago had a better cockpit view.

You don't have your own team, nor your own teammate, just what is essentially the tutorial of the first game streched out for the whole career. The only way you can get even close to that experience is by playing the multiplayer. No rivals, no tense races with their respective music, no motivation to continue because it will just be more of the same boring drivel throughout. The fact that this mess carries the GRID name is quite frankly insulting to the original and everyone who enjoyed it.

Brilliant game. Apart from a couple crashes when tabbing out (which was later fixed) the game runs flawlessly. Story's great, and there's lot's of things to do outside of it, be it side missions, collectable hunting, and upgrading skills. Music and sound is amazing as always.

Overall it's very good, a worthy sequel to The New Order.

It's pretty much your standard Call Of Duty fare. Plays like it, looks like it, feels like it. Frame rates a bit all over the place, but apart from that, it's... Alright actually.

Just freakin awesome. The cars, the chaos, the explosions, the fights, it's great. And even the moments of peace can be nice, that is until you turn around and see a storm coming...

Oh and to add, it's beautifully optimized and is essentially bug free (at least in my experience).

What more can I say? ID's on a roll with these new games, and Mick's on a roll creating awesome music for them :D

It looks good, plays well and runs smoothly, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ can be fustrating at times (to the point where I closed it via task manager half way through an event at one point). If you're a sucker for punishment (or an IRL rally driver with a 3 figure wheel setup) and like getting beat down by AIs then go for it.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? If you're looking for a reason why console versions can ruin PC games, this is a perfect example.

Played competitive for the first time, lost the first round and everyone on my team except me quit. 10/10

*UPDATE*
The new casual mode is exactly the same.

I'd advise you avoid this one.

If you've ever bought a DLC key outside of their overpriced monopoly, it's highly likely that GamersFirst (how ironic) have blocked your account and are demanding up to a $40 ransom to get it back. Instead of going after the scammers themselves, they went and killed off (from what I have seen) quite a large amount of their already dwindling playerbase.

Other than that if you've ever played the game back in 2011/12 and are wondering if anything has changed, the answer to that is no. It's an old relic, hampered by incompetent devs and demanding publishers (looking at you Deep Silver), barely keeping itself alive through the willpower of its few remaining diehard fans.

I'd lob it into the rubbish bin alongside BLR, another F2P game that went to ♥♥♥♥ because of stupid decisions by the devs.

Oh and Tiggs? Banning me for this http://imgur.com/eY9rPwO and then going on to say this in a different post http://imgur.com/vCdJedR ? Textbook example of how not to sustain a dwindling playerbase.
