Definitely was not expecting such a great game when I bought this. Was browsing through the shop last sale and saw this little gem just sitting there. It intrigued me and so I bought it. I fell in love almost immediately. You just get dropped into a giant map without any goal and I love that. You have to figure out what is happening around you, what you are and where you are through the dialouge with different NPCs, signs and the environment. I found myself constantly engaged in the story as you have to figure out what happend to this ancient kingdom.
And combined with the amazing artstyle of the world I felt like I could play this forever. With extremely responsive and fast gameplay later on every boss feels fair and great to fight and beat. And not to forget that this game is filled with secrets. The amaziong game design makes in satisfying to beat hard bosses and rewarding to find that one secret. As someone who likes that extra lore hidden around I find this really great and a must buy for anyone who wants to have a great first game or just wants to have a great time beating the crap out of some bugs.
