It's a shame there aren't more vampire games, despite it being such a great genre with a lot of potential. V Rising is everything you want in a vampire role playing, ARPG despite a few bumps and bruises and some really, really glaring flaws. Despite those flaws the game is still a blast, polished and a lot of fun for casual play, or more serious ARPG veterans looking for a challenge.

So to start I play in a custom PVE server with some settings tweaked without making it too easy. Part of the reason I recommend this game is because you have full control over your world and how you want everything to work to cater to your needs. You can disable crafting times entirely, increase health and damage making you a god, or keeping things in between. What's also fun is you can go into your world settings at any point and change them if you find it's still too hard or too difficult.

Best of all it runs great on the steam deck so I can play it on the go. Medium settings with a few tweaks here and there and it holds a steady 60fps for most areas but can dip in heavier combat.
