The Stanley Parable is a masterpiece of a game back during 2010s source games' development. Back when GMod was at its peak. It's great to see that the developers are still passionate for the game.

Honestly, I could not be bothered to play this game to full completion. The narrator is obnoxious and unfunny, with his humor and dialog proving to be more irritating than entertaining. The individual paths themselves are also not very fun, not offering much to do throughout each path, and requiring some rather tedious nonsense to get certain endings. I cannot recommended this game to anyone, even as a "so bad it's good" game, as you'll more than likely wind up bored by your third or fourth play through.

TLDR: READ THE REVIEWS. This is a tech demo at $25, with the only gimmick being realistic gore demonstrated on a VR platform. If it's on sale for under $10, then it might be an okay pick to expand your VR library. Lighting in the game is too dark at times and there is no way to get back to the main menu without restarting the game. The sound design is outstanding, but you'd probably expect that as you walk in the slowest way imaginable. Gun play is good enough, but fails to register inputs and gets stuck in level geometry too often. It being designed for Vive Wands doesn't make it good on Index controllers. The devs have offered a default binding, but doesn't consider how sensitive gripping is. You will not be able to throw objects with Index controllers. This game has a lot of promise, and I honestly do hope it gets better. It's current state isn't fun and not finished enough to be considered a great early access game. Needs more time in the oven.

The addition of EAC has divided the community. I still fail to understand why EAC needs to be added to a social game. Understandably to control crashers, but I feel like EAC will start gatekeeping players and developers alike.

I have not encountered any game-breaking bugs that game reviewers are facing. The game is extremely polished and detailed for what it is.
