3000h on record here.

The game is at its absolute lowest point, as a survivor. I have been playing this since 2017 and i can safely say that.

There is no more balance, it's either an easy win for the killer (around 4 out of 5 games) or easy win for the survivors (around 1/5), since the matchmaking is just a joke. Killers are actively hard-tunneling in most games, i have had as many as 5 games in a row, where the killer tunnels and is completely toxic. There is no counter for this. Perks like decisive strike only stun the killer for 3 sec, giving you at best an overall 10 extra seconds of life. Perks like iron will are useless now, so it is very hard to lose a hard tunneler.

They said at some point, while killing most of the good survivor perks, that they want ppl to use a plethora of builds, not only 2 or 3. What i see now:
- almost every killer uses dead man's switch and scourge hook pain resonance.
- all good survivors still use the remaining S tier perks (such as sprint burst or adrenaline).
Conclusion: behavior's rationale is just a bad joke.

On top of this:
- Most if not all loops have been tweaked in the favor of the killer (making them shorter, less complex, harder to hit windows running, full of bad pallets, taller objects such that the survivors cannot take advantage of their 3rd person view, etc.)
- Maps have been tweaked to become smaller, and emptier in terms of loops, with longer distances between them.
- The RNG factor determines the outcome of a match more than a player's skill, at higher skill levels.
- Some killers are obviously overpowered, even after "nerfing".
- Mechanics such as "the anti-camping bar" are complete and utter failures. No surprises here. The killer can just camp you from 20m away and be on top of you by the time someone picks you up. In other words, this mechanic can be bypassed by everyone and their grandma.

Overall (and TLDR): At the moment, if you like to play killer, jump right in, with as low as 50 hours of gameplay you will DESTROY most survivors. While playing survivor there is no more satisfaction, even when winning, since the game is VERY unfair most of the time.

All described here pertains to solo queue. Joining queue together with 3 of your pals, all skilled veterans, is a completely different story. But this game should be playable for everyone, not only for Ayrun, Jrm, Probzz and the other 1%.

Do yourself a favor, and find something else.
