Potentially best game ever made.

The game is a perfectly designed adventure. You have the freedom to go straight towards the many main castles/duengons, defeat the main boss and move on. Or you could take your horse/goat and explore the open world. Tired of losing to the same boss over and over? Then take a little trip down to the closest mine and kill some miners, upgrade your weapon and try again another time.

This game has the most holy ♥♥♥♥ moments of any game i have played, ever! The game is like when you watch a trailer for a cool action movie. There are stuff to do and distractions everywhere. Not a single part of the game makes you feel lost or bored. The music is meaty and epic as if you are actually in Lord of the Rings. With the coolest aesthetics in any game i have seen. I have 100 hours in the game, 80 of which in one caracher, and i believe i am halfway through the main game.

This was my first souls game. I bought it without thinking i would enjoy it that much, giving i dont really like being softlocked or losing progress. But i tell you, this game was perfect for me! and it might be for you too! the thing about this game is the analytical approach they take on combat. much like divinity original sins, they want you to lose. So that you can learn the patterns and the algorithms of the enemies, or that you are too underleveld, and you should come back later. The game has been perfectly calibrated so that every difficult encounter works as a learning process. They want you to count how many seconds there are between each attack, so you can sqeeze in an attack. Or wait for the perfect moment to cast a spell so that the boss wont dodge the attack or rush you. Most bosses takes 1 - 3 attempts and the main ones takes around 5 to 100+ depending on your level or experience. The progression in this game is to learn the fights--try and fail until you win, or prepare better.
