After putting about 26 hours into the open beta and 16 hours of the live game.

The Good:

The graphics are amazing, the world is lush and beautiful. It makes me want to explore the whole continent, which I did during the beta and some of the higher level zones are spectacular.

The sound and music are also pleasant.

The weapons are fun to use, very different from many tab-targetting type MMOs and honestly a big step up, the weapon ability customization is a lot of fun and unique compared with other MMOs.

The Bad:

The only thing I got to queue for is logging into the server, but don't worry I'm not going to complain as there are plenty of reviews about that... it just would also be nice to have "good" queues. For dungeons and PvP events. Why do we wait until level 25 for dungeons? Why do we have to wait days for a "war" event and just have someone kick you out because you weren't high enough level? Where are the queues for when I'm tired of running around the world and ready to teleport to a PvP event or dungeon? Is this a game released in 2000 or 2021?

Why is the only good way to PvP as an individual running around the map and praying no one kills you before you can turn in your quests? This is terrible design it actively discourages PvP.

Combat is pretty clunky. Perhaps somewhat related to server lag, but the system feels weird and the movement is not very smooth, it's difficult to hit players. Pretty standard for MMOs I suppose.

Lack of abilities. I mentioned the weapon system is fun to test different builds, but that's literally all there is. 3 usable abilities at most per weapon at a given time, so 6. This is somewhat reminiscent of Diablo 3, as if the game is designed with a future console release in mind, rather than a PC game. Perhaps gear and abilities will become more interesting in the endgame with various item affixes. But at a glance, the ability system feels fun to experiment with, but I suspect by endgame it would lack much diversity between player classes and abilities.

Why is there player controlled taxation/wars? Praise be to our Amazon high council and Bezos in space.

Generic/boring quests and storyline (so far). I'll hold back a bit here since I haven't been through to endgame, but I don't know who they have writing the dialogue but it's quite terrible. Fight the "corrupted" and choose a boring and generic faction, seems to be the gameplay loop in a nutshell. Quite bland.

Lots of running. This is good and bad as I mentioned the world is beautiful and fun to explore. But fast travel is a very non-interactive way for players to get around, and frankly should not be in the game (or very limited in capacity, such as only to return to the inn). Quests should be progressed as soon as they are completed, as is done in virtually all other modern MMOs. You shouldn't have to run back to the quest giver, this is a very dated mechanic and frankly was surprised at how this occurred in virtually 100% of quests. Where are the mounts? Where is the public transportation system? WE NEED BETTER INTERACTION, WALKING AN ULTRA MARATHON OR TELEPORTING AROUND EVERY TIME YOU PLAY IS NOT THE SOLUTION. Proxy chat exists (called: area?) but is cumbersome to engage with all the different chat channels, and isn't obvious enough when nearby players are trying to communicate. The only good interaction I've seen is with faction chat.

Maybe if you are part of a giant community or group you can steamroll and have fun crushing all the little guys. But if you are playing alone or with a small group of friends, skip this one. Hell, you can't even choose your starting location so playing with someone from the beginning is also a huge pain.
