I cannot express with words how disappointing this game was.

Cons:
I've never been less satisfied with killing zombies in any game than I was with this. I don't get how they could mess up the one thing that made the first Dying Light as amazing as it was, hits don't feel like they hit, it's more like driving a knife through butter that's been left out for a couple hours, than like actually hitting a zombie in the head with a pipe. The zombies just don't feel real, they feel like robots, like ai.

The fact that you can't even repair weapons like you could in the first game, why did they think this was a good idea? Taking away the one path we, as players, actually had to ensure our weaponry, weapons break and they break fast, if you're not lucky enough to just find a random 10 or so weapons, well too bad, get ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

This is the first game I've played, in my 13+ years of playing video games, where I've actually gotten a sick from just the motion blur, it's absolutely astonishing that they've managed to make a game that give me motion sickness just from running around, and not even because I played many hours in a row, as you can also tell from my '4 hours played', it would hit me after just a short 10 minutes of play.

Now the added horror aspects, it's great to see that you can make games that are scary too, not just one genre, that's dope and all, but personally it's not really for me, not to mention how disorienting some of those horror mission were. If you have to have your flashlight turned off for a mission, there has to be some other way of being able to tell where you need to go, especially when it's on such a short timer.

Pros:
I thought I should add some positives to this game too, so I'm not just 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on it.

I do like the setting, the new version of the zombie virus does add some interesting aspects to the game, and it definitely a great way to avoid the player thinking "Why can I just walk around for months without needing antizin?", good job on that.

I like the whole faction play, that's always a big plus for any game I play. I think most players in general like to feel like they have some sort of control over the story as it goes along, so that's a nice touch.

Overall I'd give it a 2/5. If you consider buying the game: Don't, get the first one instead, it basically does everything that the sequel does but a million times better.
