If 2D and 3D isn't your cup of virtual tea, don't bother with this. But at least give it a chance, even if you hate the fanbase.

Sonic Generations is perhaps the most memorable Sonic game, besides the first one. A complete collection of Sonic's great evolution through history; almost nothing in this 2011 title is original. The music, the levels, the characters, the lot of it. Everything is a reimagining of everything. From Green Hill to Planet Wisp, this game covers all twenty years of Sonic from 1991-2011.

Mario ain't got nothin' on this.

Terraria is a game all about mining, and crafting items. Similar to the popular non-Steam Minecraft in that aspect alone (this game actually came first), Terraria has various weapons that you can use against many of the in-game enemies, or bosses. Ranging from a Shuriken to a Shark-shaped Machine Gun, you'll never have a weak weapon.

If you don't fancy using guns like that, you can always use one of the many swords, be a master in magic, or be a ranged ruffian.

There are many things to keep you entertained. You'll hardly ever have nothing to do. You could get every armour set, beat every boss, try out Hardmode...anything. Certainly a game worthy of it's credit and praise.
