Do not be dissuaded by the negative reviews of the skill tree naysayers. The fact you not longer MUST buy 3 chassis of one mech just to "master" it means alot for the new player. The skill tree that was just implemented was the sole reason I came BACK to the game. Before it was an uber grind just to max out one chassis. Now...yes it takes some time to max one out, but you do not need to waste c-bills (in-game currency) on chassis that you just probably will never use.

There are some things that could be tweeked, but do not give up on it. The skill tree was a step in the RIGHT direction.
